The CPPN's Executive Director is retained through an executive management consultant contract under the terms and conditions set out in the CPPN's Funding Agreement under the Public Health Agency of Canada's Community Action Fund. (Agreement No. 1718-HQ-000760). Jeff Potts is retained as the CPPN's Executive Director through to March 31, 2022.
Responsible for operations, management, administration and corporate accountability, the Executive Director is accountable to the CPPN Board of Directors and reports through/to its Executive Committee.
Generally, the CPPN's Executive Director is responsible to undertake, facilitate, and/or support:
» Engagement and liaison activities with members, partners, and supporters;
» Organizational governance and day-to-day operations and management;
» Organizational planning, development, and program/service-delivery coordination;
» Communications and social media coordination;
» Performance measurement, evaluation and reporting activities; and
» Engagement and liaison activities with community-based partners and stakeholders, government officials and other policy-makers, political representatives, public funding agencies and private donors, and with the media.
